Mid-State Horse Show Association!
The MSHSA was organized in 1966 with the
purpose being aimed towards promoting friendship,
fair play, and opportunity for experience in
competition with those of a similar age.
MSHSA consists of five clubs: Benton, Lorance,
Malvern, Saline County and Sheridan - all located in
the central Arkansas area.
Each club hosts two shows a year; offering a variety
of events such as barrel racing, speed, pole
bending, western pleasure, gaited, english, reining
and horsemanship classes.
In order to promote fair competition, classes are
offered to peewee/pony, buckaroo, junior and senior
age groups.
Contestants earn points towards qualifying in the
top five in designated classes to have a chance to
compete at the Arkansas State Championship
Show held each year during Labor Day weekend at
Barton Coliseum in Little Rock, Arkansas.
